Michael Jensen is the
CEO and President of Jensen Communications (JCI). Formed in 1982,
JCI is a strategic public relations management and marketing firm
specializing in Music, Television & Film, The Arts, Non-Profit,
Crisis Management, and Corporate world. From technology to the pop
world, JCI has successfully guided, worked on and developed many of
the “household names” you hear every day when you pick up your
newspaper, turn on the radio, tune-in to your television or log onto
the internet. Its mission is the development and delivery of
sophisticated image positioning, strategy and public relations of
its clients. Some of JCI’s long-time clients include Santana,
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Herb Alpert, Jackson Browne, and XM
Satellite Radio among others. Michael Jensen has helped orchestrate
major events such as Billy Joel’s historic tour of the Soviet Union,
Mikhail Gorbachev’s State of the World Forum, President Bill
Clinton’s first Inaugural ball, and many others. His firm currently
represents two documentary films “Rock Prophecies” and “Crazy”
(which will be shown at the Paso Robles Digital Film Festival)..
Jensen previously was a national director of tours and special
projects at Columbia Records. He began his career as a journalist
for Knight-Ridder newspaper’s Star-News in 1974. He and the firm
have received numerous industry and civic awards. He lives in
Templeton, California.
