and co-edited Clint Eastwood's "Piano Blues." Joel has been editor on movies like

“Flags of Our Fathers,” “Million Dollar Baby,” “Mystic River,” “Blood Work,” “Space

Judy and Joel Cox

Cox has spent his entire career at Warner Bros. starting in 1961, most notably on Eastwood’s

films. The relationship began in 1975 when Cox worked as an assistant editor on “The Outlaw

Josey Wales.” Since then, he has cut 30 more films that have, in some combination, either

starred, been produced or directed by Clint Eastwood.  He just  finished the  Eastwood film

"Changeling," staring Angelie Jolie, and presently is working on "Gran Torino", staring and

directed by Eastwood.

Joel and his wife Judy have taken residents in Paso Robles, CA.  They bought a vineyard

and land in Paso 4 years ago, and have lived in there two years, and soon plan to build a

home.  Joel drives weekly from his job with Clint Eastwood's Malpaso in Burbank, where

he has been Clint's editor for 30 years, then weekly back home to Paso Robles.

Joel has named his winery MYSTIC HILLS VINEYARD, and was just planted last summer,

where he is going to be doing a blend of reds.
