presented by Eastwood.  Bruce was a Paso Digital Film Festival adviser and working

on a documentary with the Festival's director, Benford Standley.  In addition to the

Tribute to Bruce, the festival is creating the Bruce Ricker Lifetime Achievement

Award and will annually present this prestigious award to deserving recipients.

It is fitting that award winning film editor Joel Cox, who received the first Festival Life-

time Achievement Award, and was a long time friend of Bruce, will be here to present

the first Bruce Ricker Lifetime Achievement Award to music and jazz legend David

Amram.  The documentary David Amram: The First 80 Years will screen Saturday,

An important part of thePDFF is our Salute To Children and Youth, PDFF wants

to shed light on the darkness that they suffer, and honor the film makers that expose their

plights...we're going to screen some new and past documentaries that show the suffrage

of children and youth. Festival Producer, Benford Standley, is deeply dedicated to

shedding light in the darkness of the millions of homeless, runaway and missing children,

the abused, autistic, and those falling between the cracks in our society, and sadly, in

historic numbers...This year we want to help bring attention to PASO CARES S.A.F.E.,

and www.DreamcatchersForAbusedChildren.com.

Having garnished more daily traffic on it's website than other film festival websites like:

Dallas, Chicago, Nashville, SLO, Atlanta, Phoenix, Malibu, Carmel, Indie Fest, LA Reel,

Santa Barbara, San Diego, Seattle and other very well established film festivals, this

2011 digital venture will be webcast to the world on multi-platforms via the Internet, TV,

several social networks and webcasting sites, mobile applications through the festival's

INTERNETWORK of websites and portals.

If you Google, Bing, Yahoo, or most any search engine "digital film festival"...an d Paso

Digital Film Festival comes out on the top of the list...this festival is setting the bar for

"digital" media, going beyond the cutting edge and become a digital sword.  To help

sharpen the sword thePDFF has partnered LiveStream.com, and  Openfilm.com,

who has Robert Duvall and James Caan as top advisors, to produce and create a

HD Virtual Digital Film Festival, where we have a channel at:

Openfilm.com/channels/Digital-Media-Festival

The past Paso Digital Film Festivals were streamed world wide from the festival...this is

the launch of a benefit we will further develop to help our emerging film makers to reach

a much larger audience than just those that attend the film festival.  With viral marketing

efforts, and offering filmmakers a stage using the new of the Digital Age Technology to

take the filmmakers to the world, and offer some alternatives to conventional distribution

is a major goal of the festival.  Through the Festival's 3 year Internetwork of social, film

and business websites we will take viral marketing of the festival to the max.

“Our target audience is from Hollywood to the Silicon Valley,” Standley said. “That fits in

with the tank-of-gas vacation. This is a small-town, with a Norman Rockwell setting, but

it’s a very rich environment. On the local level, this festival can serve as a catalyst to help

the tourist-industry, and bring the movie business into town.
